Tumwater, Washington seems to be heavily reliant on government jobs

there are a lot of large government buildings around here, 7 stories high with ornate designs. Huge parking lots take lots of land space that rival city malls. When you look in the windows of government buildings you can see row after row of cubicles. It makes me think of cattle corrals.

This city is very comfortable with stable jobs provided by the government. You don’t really see any run down areas or homeless people around -even at the library. They do have a security guard at the library though, so there have been some problems in the past. But the security guard seems to go an extra distance in trying to act like a people greeter.
