Getting Fixed by the Same Person Who Broke You


People claim that the abuser can’t fix you, but that is the mentality that the military instills upon our psyche. Our Training Instructors are paid to break us down and then build us back up. Does it work? Well many men and women do change in the military. But our relationship with our TI is not a real intimate relationship anyways. They are like our parents and not so much our friends.

If you are to get broken down by another person, you are not on equal footing and it’s less of a friendship. After the discipline needs to come professionalism because that is how the relationship needs to continue working as. If you try to become friends after getting disciplined by someone, you will find the experience very agonizing and not with the effort. Every case is different and you learn as you move a long.
